Barcom Security is a top leader in the electronic home & business security industry and is looking for a Residential/Light Commercial Sales Representative. An ideal candidate would be career minded and possess a strong work ethic. Candidate would initiate and maintain strong customer relationships and increase the sales of our products, which include home and commercial security systems, camera surveillance, home automation and more. Must be a self-starter and problem solver who keeps the customers best interest at heart.

Job Requirements: Effectively communicate and network both in person and over the phone. Propose and sell security-based systems in primarily a door to door and business to business setting, process work orders and communicate with the installation team. Achieve sales objectives and goals, and follow-up on all customer leads from external and internal sources. Maintain customer information files and notes. Resolve any customer issues.

You will be expected to generate the majority of your leads through business to business, networking, door hanging, etc. We want someone who wants to hustle. This is a great opportunity to succeed, but you have to be motivated and driven.

Our home office is located in Swansea, IL but you will have the ability to sell anywhere in the greater St. Louis Metro Area.

Valid Driver's license and stable driving record. Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen and background check. Prompt and regular attendance. Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be organized and detail orientated.

Experience in the sales industry is a plus, but is not required.
